This TV would be perfect if they included the headphone jack. The 5000 does not have one. The 4000 model did have one and it was a great help for the housemembers who are both hard of hearing and unable to remember how to use wireless headphones.......
I bought my first HDTV last August. Actually it was a birthday present even though I paided half. Then my father bought a bigger HDTV for a HD converter box from CABLEVISION. Well I bought this HDTV from AMAZON for my mother in the upstairs living room for my satellite tv not just to expierence HD but to expierence real digital tv. Well I just bought a smaller HDTV for my father in the garage for father's day ( I had to order another HD converter box from CABLEVISION. I now made my family HD crazy! But my family is so serious about television I decided it would be smart to make all our tv service with as much HD as possible and be 100% digital. I actually have both cable and satellite (DISH NETWORK) because I wanted it both ways (now that's being serious). I now wonder how many U.S. households have four HDTVs? I am a very happy one of them. ......
Very satisfied with this Sony HDTV. Easy setup. Nice style. Great HDTV images and color. Nice sound. Outstanding movie picture quality when using a DVD player. Okay for PC use, but display quality does not match most PC monitors that normally have higher resolution screens with more pixels. ......
This is a very pretty TV, very easy to set up, lightweight, but sturdy. Has a good picture. Just hope it lasts longer than the 18 mo old Samsung that died on me. Would have cost $350 to fix. I was told that Sony is a very good brand. We'll see.......
A good tv, took a bit of tweeking before it looked perfect, but what tv doesn't? Bought it for my fiance and I for when we get married and need a TV, it's small light weight, so I can pick it up and move it whenever I need to , whether if it's a quick room change or when i move out of house to go back to college. And the best of all it wasn't too expensive, and came with way more outputs and inputs than i know what to do with.......
